It will get harder and harder for you to find any engineering software to support a 32 bit system as you are already finding out.
The newer versions of Solid Edge have had some tremendous improvements in the area of 2D and 3D also If you do decide to go to 3D, it 64 bit is essential as is more than 4GB of memory hence the reason Siemens no longer offers Solid Edge in 32 bit. Grundey wrote: ST6 is coming up on 3 years old.
